Welcome to the official website for the Palms of Terra Ceia Bay Community Development District (CDD). This site is funded by the CDD in an effort to help educate the general public about the services provided by the District, and to highlight the other agencies involved in the day-to-day operations of the community. Palms of Terra Ceia Bay CDD (the "District") Disclosure: Please be advised that "the District', a local unit of special purpose government created under Florida law, has constructed and is responsible for the maintenance of certain improvements, infrastructure and facilities within the community. The District financed this construction through the sale of tax-exempt bonds, a form of public financing. As a result, and in accordance with applicable federal and state law, all District owned improvements, infrastructure and facilities are and shall remain open and accessible to the general public. Should you have any questions on this matter or any other general District issue, please feel free to contact the District Manager.

MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN  (2/14/2020)

We had our monthly meeting Tuesday, February 11, at the clubhouse, and it was quite a meeting, but we accomplished a lot.

Work on our iron gates began this week.  This work will be a process, as a new gate has to be manufactured to replace the bent one on the exit side.  This will take a couple of weeks before the installation of new motors, and calibration of the gates and arms.  Please bear with us; eventually it will get done.  Meanwhile the arms and cameras are working, and incidents with the arms and difficulties with gate decals are becoming fewer and fewer.

Henry Ortland, our Field Manager, has become very proactive in reviewing the cameras at his home and calling residents when he sees someone had difficulty getting in.  These incidents are usually on the guest side. 

The sidewalk adjacent to the gatehouse has taken quite a beating, to the point where it has become dangerous.  We have hired a contractor to replace the entire sidewalk.  While this work is being done, we also contracted for a handicap access to the gatehouse.    This work will begin in approximately 2 weeks.

During the last couple of meetings, we have been discussing the condition of our roads.  We had our  District Engineer, John Foley, examine them, and he attended our meeting Tuesday to bring us up to date on the options for repairing our roads.  We are in the early stages of determining what type of resurfacing best suits the needs of the community.   

Our next meeting will be held at 5pm, March 10, at the Back Bay Grille.  I hope to see you there.

Gatehouse Hours:   Monday through Thursday 9AM - 2PM

Please allow as much as 30 minutes for processing and obtaining a new gate pass. Gate passes are $30 each and we accept cash or check for payment. If you are a new resident, please make sure you bring your purchase or rent agreement on your first visit. We will need this in order to show that you are a legitimate resident of the neighborhood and we will make a copy of it for our files.
